These sound boxes were made to muffle the noise generated by the blowers in our indoor facility. They work great to cut the noise while keeping the blowers away from little hands that want to mess with the switch and hoses.
Standard size box is 24"x24" inside of the box.
These boxes are made from 2lb styrofoam covered with a specially formulated polymer to protect the box and seal all edges. The inside of the box is lined with acoustic polyurethane foam to help muffle the noise produced by the blower. The large box has a air filter system. It uses a standard 20x20 air filter.
We had the boxes tested for air flow, air pressure and noise reduction. The test were done by Architectural Testing. The results were a 1% loss in air flow, 2% loss in air pressure and a 35% reduction in noise.
